Overview
Designed for anglers fishing small creeks and streams with a taper design that loads at close range, with ultra-slick performance
RIO's Creek line has been designed for anglers that fish small creeks and streams. The line loads at close range, allowing anglers to make short casts of 10 to 15 feet with ease, yet has enough body and head length for those occasions when a longer cast is needed. Each line is built on a supple coldwater core for tangle-free performance, and features SlickCast—the slickest, most durable coating on the market. In addition, the line features MaxFloat Tip Technology, RIO's proprietary tip coating formula that floats more than twice as high as regular line tips, without any increase in diameter.

This line is ok-
Review by Levi W. on 7 Aug 2022 review stating This line is ok-
I had a little higher expectations, whiles it’s still functional- the first trip out I noticed the line didn’t float- usually it takes a few years of abuse before my floating line doesn’t float- this line was that way out of the box.

Loads the rod quickly and efficiently for great casts.
Review by Drew G. on 5 Aug 2024 review stating Loads the rod quickly and efficiently for great casts.
This line does exactly what it's designed to do - load your rod quickly with minimal line out of the tip to make great cases in tight quarters. Love it on my 7 1/2' 4wt bamboo rod fishing small creeks for native trout, but also shooting line 50' in a farm pond for big panfish on hoppers. Overall just a great line for beginnings and pro's alike.
